Admissions
If you are considering our school for your child, please do arrange a visit with us through the school office. It will give you a chance to ask any questions you may have and see our school for yourself.
Children First Starting School (Reception Class)
In Leeds, children start school at the beginning of the September after their fourth birthday. If you wish to apply for a Reception class place for when your child first starts school, all admissions are administered by Leeds City Council. We follow the Leeds Council Admissions Policy – a copy can be found on our Policy page.
For the parents of all prospective Reception children, we hold an Open Day in the Autumn term for you to meet the staff and have tour of the school. Once Leeds Authority has confirmed your place, we will contact you to inform you of our transition arrangements which we hope will support you and your child in making the move to full time school.

Transferring Schools
For pupil admissions to our school mid-year, parents/carers should contact the school office. We can advise parents if we have any places available. To request a school place an In-Year Common Preference Form needs to be completed and then returned to school. If a place is offered, school will inform you of a start date in a letter confirming the school place.
If the school is unable to offer you a place, Leeds Admissions Team will contact you in writing to let you know about other schools in your area and any vacancies at these schools. Where a place has not been offered due to a class being full, Leeds Admissions place you on their waiting list for the school. If a place becomes available, the school will contact you.
Please note that waiting lists do not carry on into a new academic year.
