As part of our Geography topic work on The United Kingdom and What Makes Us British,Year 2RB enjoyed a food celebration afternoon. We tasted different foods which have originated from a variety of nationalities and cultures┬ábut which are now part of modern British life. Scones and jam, tortilla chips, jalepenos and guacomole and vegetable samosas were just some of the culinary delights on offer! We must thank our parents who sent some delicious home cooked food in for us to try too – it was a treat to taste some traditional Kurdish and Greek dishes!
