We have had an absolutely amazing start to our year! To kick start our new topic we had a ‘Stone Age’ workshop. Russ and Liz were our guides through the time period and took us on a very interesting journey. We learnt about different aspects of Stone Age life such as hunting and gathering, tools and weapons and clothing and jewellery plus so much more.
We really enjoyed the range of activities we took part in throughout the day. We did some clay modelling to make pots, learnt how to insulate houses through Wattle and Daube and replicated some cave paintings on huge pieces of paper.
We had a fun and fact filled day!
