It has been a fantastic start to the academic year in 3E! We have improved our writing skills whilst becoming engrossed in The Iron Man by Ted Hughes as well as becoming Mastery Mathematicians by solving addition and subtraction problems using new strategies!
In the afternoons we have traveled back to The Stone Age to learn all about our ancient ancestors. We learnt about how they lived by becoming archaeologists and looking at the evidence that they left behind. We designed our own cave paintings and also shared our knowledge with the school in our Class Assembly.
In Science, we have investigated Light and Shadows and conducted different experiments to find out what happens when a light source moves away from and object and what happens to shadows throughout the day – luckily we had some sun!
